Instructions on setting up your CAPS account in accordance with Blank_COA attached to 44807 Exemption.

• Download and fill out the top portion and replace Company Name with your company name. I’ve prefilled the other details need. 

• Prepare Email from https://caps.faa.gov/coaportal to 9-AJV-115-UASOrganization@faa.gov Use an email that does not appear to be shared with multiple people - ideally: “name@yourcompany.com.  State in an email along the lines of:

” To Whom it May Concern,

In accordance with the Blanket COA issued along with Exemption Number {FAA-20XX-XXXX-XXX} and the instructions listed within the CAPS website I am submitting the "CAPS Access Form" to allow us to register for the COAPortal on CAPS.FAA>Gov for COA request  to be issued for our ag spray operations when a client's field is within the prescribed boundaries defined within the Blanket COA.  

The Registration N-number of my UA is NXXXXX. I have attached a copy of my UA Aircraft Registration Card and Current Exemption. “

1. Attach filled out the CAPS Access Request Form - changing COMPANY NAME, COUNTY & STATE and XXXXX to your current Exemption Number.
2. Attach image of Drone Registration 
3. Attach current Exemption you are operating under
4. Ensure names match between Aircraft Registration form 8050-3 and on your Exemption
5. Use a single access email. (Names to a person vs. the business)

• The last 4 or 5 requests have come back in about 24 hours. The team has a tendency of changing what they are asking for every few months.
